  • How do laser leg vein removal treatments work?

Laser leg vein treatments work by selectively heating vein walls until they collapse and seal shut. The sealed vein is then absorbed by the body over a period of months.

  • How long do treatments take?

Most procedures will only take 30 to 45 minutes. This also depends on the size of the spider or varicose veins being treated. This is best discussed with your physician before treatment.

  • How many treatments are needed?

This will depend on the severity of the varicose veins and the number of veins that need to be treated. Generally, most patients will need two to three sessions of laser, which can be done in one to two weeks, along with a few sessions of sclerotherapy. Call our experienced team today to learn more.

  • What should I expect after treatment?

After laser treatment, you may have some bruising, minimal tenderness, and swelling. These are all considered normal! After sclerotherapy treatment, some skin discoloration and tenderness may occur. It is best to discuss appropriate post-treatment care with a physician.
